About Dr. Kordai DeCoteau

Dr. Kordai I. DeCoteau has joined the Heart Center of the Oranges, a multi-specialty practice for problems of the foot and ankle. For more than a decade, Dr. DeCoteau has run her own podiatry office in New York, treating a variety of foot conditions using cutting-edge techniques to help relieve foot, heel, and ankle pain, as well as to improve overall function.
Following her graduation from the University of Miami, FL, in 1997 (a school she attended on full academic scholarship), Dr. DeCoteau attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
She graduated in 2001, completed her surgical residency program at St Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY, and then became Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
She is fluent in Spanish and has contributed to Especialito, a Spanish newspaper that serves the Hispanic communities throughout New York City’s five boroughs, as well as parts of New Jersey. Dr. DeCoteau is active in her community, regularly attending services at The Abyssinian Baptist Church, where she serves on the Health Ministry. She’s also a proud member of The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, an international organization dedicated to the lifelong personal and professional development of its members who in turn advocate for social change and global equality.
