About Dr. Kim Tranquada
Dr. Kim Tranquada completed medical school at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn and her emergency medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Kingā€™s County Hospital. As a board-certified emergency medicine physician for 27 years, she has navigated the complexities of diverse clinical settings across the United States, focusing on innovation and equitable care.
Dr. Tranquadaā€™s latest venture encompasses the role of founder and CEO of the Healthcare Alliance For An Equitable World. With a mission to reduce human suffering and uplift the dignity of all people through equitable healthcare, the Healthcare Alliance is connecting physicians with rural and under-resourced communities worldwide to provide urgent and routine tele-consultations.
