About Dr. Tamara Huff

Born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, Dr. Tamara Huff (better known as the LadyBoneDoc) is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and health disparities advocate who is passionate about increasing access to musculoskeletal care in underserved communities.

Dr. Huff attended the University of Georgia and graduated with honors. She went on to obtain her medical doctorate from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana.

With over 15 years of medical training and surgical experience in urban and rural areas, Dr. Huff understands the importance of connecting with each patient. Currently, she provides evidence-based musculoskeletal care at hospitals across the country. Dr. Huff remains committed to pursuing community outreach and education. She is an active member of the Executive Steering Committee of Movement is Life, the Columbus (GA) Chapter of the Links, Inc., and the Columbus Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
