About Dr. Chinyelu "Dr. Yel'Ora" Oraedu

Dr. Chinyelu E. Oraedu, also known as Dr. Yel'Ora, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She completed her Internal Medicine training in 2009 at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Oraedu has over 20 years of experience as a physician in Nigeria, Oman, and the United States.

She practices as an Academic Hospitalist/ Nocturnist (Physician who cares for adults 18 years and older) at Stamford Hospital, Stamford, Connecticut- a teaching affiliate of Columbia University Irving Medical Center, NYC. She also sees patients in the Outpatient setting at the Presurgical clinic (affiliated with her hospital) at the Tully Health Center in Stamford.

She is an Adjunct Professor at Frank H. Netter MD, School of Medicine in Quinnipiac University, North Haven, CT, where she mentors medical students.

Dr. Yel'Ora works predominantly night shifts and recently embarked on a total lifestyle makeover.

She created Dr. Yel'Ora, Lifestyle & Obesity Coaching Program for Night Workers. My platform aims to amplify and shed more visibility on Health & Wellness challenges associated with the night shift work.

She is the best-selling author of The Warrior Women Project- an Anthology she coauthored about Immigrant women. She partnered with 50 female physicians in another book titled, "Thriving After Burnout."
