About Dr.Ā Sonia Singh

Dr. Singh is a Stanford-trained, board-certified internist, primary care physician, writer, and consultant. Dr. Singh attended medical school at UC San Diego, completed her internal medicine residency at Stanford, and also holds a Master's in Nutrition from Columbia. Her writing has been featured in NPR, The New England Journal of Medicine, and Annals of Internal Medicine.

As the founder and solo physician of Juniper Modern Primary Care, a direct primary care (DPC) micropractice in Houston, TX, Dr. Singh has revolutionized primary care for busy women by leveraging automation, integration, and AI to enhance efficiency, improve patient experience, and reduce overhead. By her second year in business, she was earning more than her previous salary while working just 20-25 hours per week, with full control over her practice.

In 2024, Dr. Singh launched Micropractice Mama, a virtual platform designed to educate and empower primary care physicians. Through this platform, she provides educational resources, 1:1 support, and a community to help physicians create sustainable, autonomous practices filled with authenticity and joy.
