Are You Actually Free?

This week, I want to ask you something.
Are you free?
Not legally. Not technically.
But in your body.
In your mind.
In your life.
I was talking with a client who said something that stopped me:
“I’m doing everything I should. But nothing I want.”
Whew.
She has the degrees.
The job.The house.
Everything that looks like success.
But a full calendar.
With zero breathing room.
But inside?
She’s stuck.
Running on autopilot.
Living by obligation, not desire.
Gaining weight. Stressed to no end.
And she’s not the only one.
So many high-performing women are carrying lives that look good on the outside…
But feel like a trap on the inside.
And here's the truth most people won’t say out loud:
You can’t self-care your way out of a life you don’t feel free in.
Not with green smoothies.
Not with lavender candles.
Not with bubble baths.
You have to reclaim your freedom.
One choice at a time.
None of that works. If your mind isn’t in it.

Here’s the plan we worked on.
Start here:
1/ Check your calendar.
What on there is a “yes” you never meant to say?
Cross it out. Cancel it. Reclaim your time.
2/ Name what you really want.
Not what sounds reasonable.
Not what people expect.
But what would actually make you feel free?
3/ Take one bold step in that direction.
Send the email.
Block the time.
DO something for you.
Because no one is coming to give you freedom.
OR care for you, sister.
You choose it.
And the moment you do, your body starts to shift.
The stress starts to lift.
That’s what I want for you.
Not just health.
But freedom.
