Take Time For You!🥰
Aug 28, 2022
Life is demanding.
Life demands that you work, and no matter how you try to avoid it.
This is why you must make self-care a priority.
The average person begins working around age 17.
The average planned retirement age is 66, according to Gallup.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average full-time employed person works between 8 and 9 hours per day.
The average lifespan is 74.5 years old for men and 80.2 years old for women.
As you can see, unless we are intentional about taking care of ourselves, work will be a priority and control our lives.
It is easy to get carried away and neglect yourself.
We have all done it.
There is no shame in acknowledging that, but it is time to take action once we realize it.
That action is scheduling time for yourself.
Whether it is a 20-minute routine to clear your mind.
Or a morning routine to boost yourself mentally and physically for your day.
It might be a dance party with your family or a run during the day.
Whatever it is, schedule it and get it done.
Why?
Because life is demanding.
You shouldn’t live to work but work to live.
Remember to take care of yourself.
Always wishing you the best,
Dr. Beckford
