Should you take menopause supplements?

I was in a Facebook group this week.

A woman asked.

“Are menopause supplements worth it?”

Good question.

The comments were full of:

Try this.

Do this mix.

Drink that tea.

Add these drops.

All sorts of advice.

Most of it was wrong.

And it's not their fault.

So much nonsense out there.

Here’s why.

The value of supplements is debatable.

Studies are mixed. Some women feel better. Others don't.

Labels aren’t the same as prescriptions.

Doses vary. Quality varies. Some products are under or over-filled.

Big blends promise the world.

They rarely deliver.

BUT here’s what you can do.

Start with the stuff that works every time:

Sleep.

Protein at each meal.

Short walks after dinner.

Strength training a few times a week.

Basic. I know.

That stack beats any “miracle” jar on your counter.

If you still want support.

Think “fill gaps,” not “fix everything.”

Light on protein? Use a clean protein powder.

Never eat fish? Consider an omega vitamin.

Inside most of the day? Ask about plain vitamin D.

Want to wind down before bed? Try magnesium.

Keep it simple.

Skip detox teas and fat burners.

If it sounds like a shortcut, it probably is.

One more thing. 

Supplements can support the life you’re building.
