Work with Me

Why You’re Always Tired (Even After 8 Hours of Sleep)

Nov 02, 2025

I spoke to a woman recently.

She said “I sleep at night,  but I still wake up exhausted.”

We were talking after work.

Her voice was steady.

But I could hear the frustration underneath.

She runs a business.
Raises kids. She takes care of everyone else.

And still wakes up tired.
Every. Single. Morning.

Her body aches.
Her patience is thin.
She said, “I feel like I'm resting,  but my body doesn’t.”

Because I’ve heard it again and again.
Different women.
Same story.

They go to bed early.
They try magnesium.
They cut caffeine.
Nothing works.

It isn’t “stress.”  It isn’t age. It’s chemistry.

Here’s what’s happening.

When estrogen drops, cortisol rises.
Your stress hormone becomes the new boss.
It keeps your body in high alert even while you sleep.

Your heart rate stays up.
Your temperature fluctuates.
Your mind stays half awake.

It’s like trying to sleep with a siren blaring in the distance.

You rest, but you never recover.

It’s awful.

So yes, you “slept.”
But your body spent the night fighting, not healing.

This isn’t happening to just one woman.

It’s happening to millions.
High-performing women who did everything right
and were never told what menopause would do to their sleep.

They think they’re failing.
They’re not.

They’re tired because their bodies forgot how to feel safe.

You don’t need more sleep.

You need safety.

See you next Sunday,
