Work with Me

Be Spontaneous!😊😊

selfcare urcaringdocs wellness Jul 31, 2022

Whenever we talk about selfcare we often talk about routines, such as morning routines and even exercise routines, but let’s be honest, being spontaneous is also selfcare.

One of the beauties of selfcare is the freedom it brings.

Now don't get me wrong, having routines are essential.  It helps us tackle important tasks in a short time. It also helps us to feel control in a world filled with chaos.

However,  we often become rigid with our routines and lose the opportunity to experience joy. The unexpected joy that comes with being spontaneous.

This weekend I got a call to attend an event. It was a special occasion, and I didn’t think I could “make time” for it.

I thought about my to-do list and all the other tasks I had lined up. These were routine weekly tasks. This event was once in a lifetime.

I decided to get the most important things done on my list, and I attended the event.

I am so glad I did.

Not only did I have a great time, but I also connected with a friend whom I hadn't seen since the beginning of the pandemic.

We took pictures, we laughed, and we exchanged stories about our lives.

My cup is now full, and I am starting this week with an extra boost.

Tell me, what spontaneous thing did you do this weekend to fill your selfcare cup?

I would love to hear your stories.

Always wish you the best,
